This book was fast-paced and the tension between Alosa and Riden were off the charts. While this seems like a fairly easy task- retrieve the map and leave- Alosa must also deal with the infuriating but fairly attractive first mate: Riden.Īs a person who prefers character development to plot development, this book was a good choice, especially when pirates are involved. Alosa purposely gets captured by a different pirate ship to search for a missing part of a map, a map that when put together is supposed to reveal a big treasure, in order to search their ship. ![]() Essentially, Alosa, a pirate, is the daughter to the esteemed Pirate King who is known for his dangerous reputation.
